We would love to sell used bikes at Salvagetti, but we never ever want to sell stolen bikes. So, instead of selling potentially stolen goods, we are going to help you to the best of our ability.
Here is our proposed solution:
Both you and the seller aren’t going to an unsafe place. They don’t know you and you don’t know them. Don’t take chances and meet in a public place.
We can check over the bike to make sure it is going to work well for your purposes. We cannot help you with the price, but we can tell you whether the bike will approximately fit and whether you can make it into what you are hoping for. The seller won’t have to deal with an unhappy customer later on.
We will be honest with both you and the seller. Knowing how much it will cost to make the bicycle work properly will allow you to stay within your budget. This can also backfire in the bargaining world, because sometimes a used bike needs no work to make it function perfectly. This will leave the buyer with very little wiggle room for negotiations.
The simple math is:
Price you buy the bike for + Repairs/Modifications < Budget = YOUR HAPPINESS!
THE BOTTOM LINE
We help people make their old (but new to them) bicycles into the bike they always wanted. All you have to do is ask!
See you soon.
