Welcome to Parlee Bicycles. From the moment you start your investigation, to your 1000th ride on your Parlee, you can understand why we wanted to carry them. These bikes are valuable for a multitude of reasons that we think you will appreciate.
At Salvagetti Bicycle Workshop, we have a small bike shop that has to exceed all expectations. In our quest for a great high end road bike, we had a few important rules. We wanted to know that our customer was getting not only a great bike, but a great bike that would last as long as a great bike of ANY material. We wanted to support a company that wasn’t resting on its laurels, but one that is building its reputation through solid product. And we wanted a bike that was worthy of loving.
LONG LASTING
Parlee is one of the few manufacturers of carbon road bikes that will repair their frames. The frames are so valuable and thought out that it is more cost efficient to repair a damaged frame than to simply replace it. This is not something that the cycling industry typically does. We believe that if a bicycle is worth a price tag of such large portions, it should be something that the customer not only loves for a long time, but it remains valuable for a long time.
PERFORMANCE BASED
Parlee designs under the same notions as formula one race cars: Performance above all other factors. Cost, manufacturing, aesthetics all have to take a back seat to all out speed and control. They know that they are not following all of the trends of swoopy tubes and crazy lines, but they also know that their bikes are flat out better. We know it, too. You’ll know as soon as you throw your leg over a Z5.
PAYBACK TIME
When Parlee approached us, they delivered a Z1 for us to play with. It impressed everyone with its speed, its stiffness and its weight. What we were not ready for was that this Z1 is 11 years old. That is about 8 years longer than your similarly priced insert-your-favorite-big-name frame. We want you to do the math on owning a Parlee. It comes out less expensive per year, all while being a better bike.
