Classes are for the Community

We aim to demystify the bicycle to the point where it isn't so scary to new and seasoned riders. What we need from our customers is some feedback as to what you need to know to enjoy cycling more. Some suggestions we have received thus far that we are considering are: classes on maintenance, classes on overhauls, guided mountain bike rides. We want for you to enjoy your bike to its fullest, so let us know how we can help make that happen.

Email ideas/suggestions/good jokes to scott@salvagetti.com.

Flat Change - $0.00
Offered Thursdays at 6pm.
The most challenging situation can be tamed with a little knowledge. We will show you our not-yet-patented method for changing out your tires and/or tubes without the tears, yelling and sadness you might associate with a flat tire. It'll save you money really quickly, too. Why are we offering this? We want you to make it home from your favorite ride with a smile on your face.

Sunday Morning (Breakfast) Rides - $0.00
Sunday Mornings 8am (an excuse to not party too hard) at Salvagetti.
Bring some bucks with you to enjoy a great breakfast with a group of food crazed cyclists. We did this for a few months last year and had a blast. We typically will go only a few miles of easy paths, so there is no need for spandex or for nervousness. This is purely for you to get a smile and a healthy breakfast. We will get you home by noon, so plan a great afternoon to match your great morning.

Wheel Building Class - $55/person
Available by appointment - limit 2/class
You've ridden them for all your life and now you want to build one. Okay. Together we can do this. The class will be about 4 hours total and you will walk away with a wheel that you built. Scott will teach the basic ideas of building a wheel, touching on a few little details that make your wheel ride like a pros. The parts are extra, so don't say we didn't warn you.

Extra Mile

We did something for our customers that we are very proud of. We have set up a legitimately nice workstand outside the back of the shop for people to use. It is for changing flats, installing tape, etc. You can use it for whatever you need, but only while we are open. We hope to offer some tools and an air supply soon. Who knows, maybe we'll pipe music out there, too.
