The Owner’s choice of rides. Scott bought this bike because he loves steel. He loves riding comfortably. And he loves riding fast whenever he feels like it.

The Jamis Eclipse becomes an obvious choice for a rider that needs long lasting components, a sweet sweet sweet paintjob and a lightweight, robust frame. Shimano Ultegra SL components and ridiculously lightweight wheels make this bike a magic machine for any road ride.

Scott took his out for a quick tour of Golden and Evergreen at the beginning of the season. You can read about that here.

Meet Your New Car

The Jamis Aurora comes with tires that are hard as hell to puncture. It comes with tough wheels. And it comes with a comfortable, efficient Reynolds 520 steel frame for your entire lifetime of pleasure. Let this be a warning to your car (if you have one) that it isn’t needed anymore.

It is like a car because it can carry a ton of groceries. Or it can carry a couple loads of laundry. But, it isn’t like a car because each time you use the Jamis Aurora instead of a car, you can think to yourself (or hell, you can yell out loud if you want) that you are “saving money because you don’t have to use a car for everything!”. And each trip on your bike adds to your “take a trip with your bike” fund.

Or you could stop gloating, and just feel good from the endorphins that you get from riding a bike. The Aurora should get the “easiest way to give up your car” award.

A Rider’s Road Bike

The Jamis Quest continues to be one of the best riding bikes for the money that we have ever seen. The frame is light, but not fragile. The parts are smart, not frilly. What you get is a consistent, long lasting bike for way less than you would expect to pay.

The fit of the Quest is not touring and it isn’t racing. It is right in between. It is a bike for ‘riding’. That being said, people who love carbon and titanium are surprised by the supple ride of the Reynolds 631. People coming from Aluminum are pleasantly surprised that the harshness isn’t there, while the efficiency still remains.

We want you to come in and try out a Quest. In the worst case, you can check it off as something you are not interested in. In the best case, you will find the bicycle love of your life. We mean life… and we definitely mean love.
