We were asked to sell the Spot Brand bicycles to Denver. And we are happy to say “YES”

Yes, they are made of steel, and we love steel.
Yes, we like the people who sell these bikes to us.
Yes, Spot Bikes is in Golden, CO, home of the HOWDY FOLKS SIGN.
Yes, the geometry of this bike KILLS all others. If you like a playful 29er, look no further.

Gates Carbon Belt Drive

Some questions come up when you see these bikes:

How long does that belt last? About 15,000 miles.

What kind of lube does it use? No lube.

What is the advantage of that system? Better power transfer, with typically less weight and maintenance.

We made a little video close up for you to answer some of your own questions. Like how hot you think the Gate Carbon Drive is.

Cross Country Racers look for speed, agility and toughness. You need to go fast, to not wreck and to finish the race. The XCR Comp works in your favor on all accounts.

4″ of front and rear travel so you can keep your speed through the bumps and still be super efficient. Lightweight Kinesis tubing, so you can conserve your energy for going fast, not lugging around a bunch of weight. And solid components, so you get to keep on riding without thinking about how well it is all working together.

We fell in love with the 2008 Jamis Dakar XAM on our first ride. Since falling in love, we have tried to make the XAM hate us:

1. It has been on horrifically long climbs. (It loved it)
2. It has been taken off some mean drops. (It giggled)
3. It watched us take lesser bikes off into the mountains for some riding. (It confidently sat in silence)

The test of the relationship between you and your bike is whether it brings a smile to your face even when you aren’t on top of it. Clearly, we love this bike.

We have a Demo of this bike for you to play with. Come out with us on a quick ride or a full on demo.
