Bicycles mean a lot of different things to different people. They are transportation, exercise, sport and even a little bit of a manifestation of personality. That is where Salvagetti can help. We are ready to help you get out of your bike what you want.
We are proud of the bikes we have chosen for your riding pleasure. Each bike has been chosen for its value, parts selection, usability and in some cases color. (wink wink)
When you decide to purchase a bicycle from us, we do a few things to ensure you are getting the most out of your new bike. We offer 6 months of labor to get the bike broken in, fixed up or changed out to your exact liking*. We also will help you with making sure you have a good fit with your new bike and that you understand how the bike works. All this adds up to you loving your bike and that will make us happy.
*We hate the fine print, too. But, we must say that any upgrades that are covered under the 6 month period must be purchased at Salvagetti to qualify for free labor. Also, this is only on new bikes.

We started these bikes in 2004 and have since sold over 40 of them to people who appreciate the pure idea of taking something old and turning it into great. We take old bikes and turn them into new looking old bikes. The new fleet of Salvagettis is going to be just as great as the last. We will list them here first, so get them while they are hot.

This is a strange and beautiful situation. We were approached by a gentleman who many decades ago wanted to start a bike shop, so he started saving cruiser to fix up. He acquired multiple years of high end bikes from friends and co-workers for about 40 years (by our estimation). We are going to fix up these bikes for you to buy at completely reasonable prices ($75-$250). They will appear on the the web only.

So many bikes to ride so little time
It gets insane if you get deep into researching all the bicycles on the market today. It can get overwhelming to learn all the options for components, frame materials, tires, etc. The thing to remember is that you have to like how the bike rides. Please come by and try them out. After riding a bike, you can decide how you feel about it. Your strong opinion is what you must follow. And after you know you are right about the bike you want, then you may purchase your new bike happily.
