For The Moonlight Classic

2009 Moonlight Classic

For The Last Few Years
We have, for the last several years, stood in front of our store on Speer during the Moonlight Classic.

We would yell. And encourage. And clap. And play music to keep the troops pedaling through the last leg of the night. It worked, though, because people smiled and kept on keeping on.

And it was fun losing our voices! It was fun getting pizza at 2 a.m. on the way home from the shop. It was even fun having drunk people beg to use our bathrooms (which we obliged).

But, you know what we were missing from the Moonlight Classic?
We were missing the ride. We were missing the cool air and the buzz of riding with thousands of other cyclists and their flashing red lights. We were missing all the crazy costumes and stop stations.

So, What is the Difference for this Year
We are moving this August to a new spot. And we don’t need to confuse anyone (anymore than they already are).

So this year, WE RIDE.
We are gonna meet at the shop at about 10pm and ride the Moonlight Classic together. Wanna come with us? Let us know. If you are not registered, you may be kicked off the course. Don’t worry though, you won’t be alone. And you shouldn’t see any jail time.

Check out the Moonlight Classic Website.
