Why Live in the Past?
Giant offers a bike called the 1984. It is a cool bike, but we didn’t feel like the past is such a great thing to worship. Reagan was a good president for some, but he wasn’t exactly pro-cycling.
Oh yeah, back to this bike. Giant decided to make a cool bike. We decided to make it cooler, lighter and more ridable. Bikes are for riding after all.
It is pretty. It is light. It has really nice parts.
Pretty
Look at it. It asks to be checked out everywhere it goes. The saddle is leather, like a futuristic jacket. The details of the bike are fantastic. The logo itself is what Giant will use in 75 years, MARK OUR WORDS!
Light
It isn’t heavy. The wheels are light, the frame is light and the cranks are light. That means the whole bike is not not not heavy. Pick it up.
It has nice parts
Sugino messenger cranks. Deep Rim crazy-man-on-a-mission wheels. Upright futuristic bars from the future. A big 1/8″ gold chain to round out the specifications.
In the future you will be fashion forward. You won’t burn up so much fuel everywhere you go. And you will see this bike.
