FUEL the Movie

Not Just for Hippies

by Scott T.

I went and saw a movie on Sunday night. It wasn’t just good, it was helpful. It is called FUEL.

I want to describe it as similar to An Inconvenient Truth without pissing your pants from fear and a noted lack of guilt while approaching the last few minutes of the film. There may have even been a little feeling of hope.

On Saturday, a woman came into the store wearing a bright green coat. She had a flat tire and was pretty excited that she had found us because she was borrowing a bike from a friend and was from out of town. Long story short, I recognized a button she was wearing as matching a poster that I was hanging in the store promoting a movie called FUEL. This mysterious woman in the bright green coat was actually a producer of the movie! She urged us to come and see the movie at the Starz Movie center at the Tivoli. It is playing through the 26th of April, but will stay longer if more people will see it.

I did. And it was good.

Now it is your turn. Go see it.

In fact, we want you to see it so badly, that if you can prove it (with a ticket stub), we will give you 10% off of any tune that your bicycle needs. (That could be up to $30 if you need a comprehensive overhaul).
This deal only goes until April 7th of 2009.

Sound like a deal? It should.

  1. You know, I have to tell you, I really enjoy this blog and the insight from everyone who participates. I find it to be refreshing and very informative. I wish there were more blogs like it. Anyway, I felt it was about time I posted, I’ve spent most of my time here just lurking and reading, but today for some reason I just felt compelled to say this.
