A technical top can make your day on a bicycle so much better. No, seriously. The idea of tight clothing has been lost on many because of old stigmas of the 80s. Well, back when you wore spandex it was because it was fashionable. Now, fashion is out the window and we need reasons to wear super tight clothing.
A good technical jersey allows for several things:
1. A proper fitting jersey compresses muscles the right amount. By compressing the muscles, you will have longer lasting energy. This is equally true in shorts.
2. Your body can cool down faster. When you are working hard, you want the heat and sweat to dissipate as quickly as possibly. Having a thin, well made jersey will help eliminate hot spots.
3. You feel faster in tight clothes. This seems silly, but you feel as though you are just slipping by the air. It makes it fun and fast.
