Giant Defy 3
A Great Start
We have seen it lots of times. Someone comes in curious about road riding, but not serious enough to spend the big bucks. We understand. And we want you to love riding.
We have an answer for you. The Giant Defy 3 is a great deal of bike for a small amount of money. You start with a great frameset made of Aluxx aluminum and carbon. This means light and efficient. To add comfort, the frame is built around the idea that a bike should be comfortable even when your mileage gets over 50. So your hands will not hurt, your butt (or bottom, rear end or tushy) will feel just fine. Now, if your legs and arms hurt, it’s just because you worked out hard.
Come by and ride the all new Defy 3. It is a perfect start to a lasting love affair with road bikes.

I just pucchased the Giant Defy 3 and I love it.. I started off on a trek su 200 urban bike to start a fitness routine. I really enjoyed the bike and the progress that I was making but when I started to do more than 10 miles I descovered that I was having hand and shoulder Issues.. I looked into TREK, SPECIALIZIED, and other major brands of bikes and for the money the DEFY 3 was the clear winner.
The first day I went 15 miles to get used to the bike.. and I had to re-adjust the hood to my comfort.. but no hand or shoulder issues and I also cut my time in half. The second day I did 38.8 miles and again I cut my time in half without shoulder or hand Issues. I went to my LBS where I purchased my new GIANT to purchase bar pads and new bar tape and installed them. The third day I decided to take on a small moutian hear in the temecula ca. area (the Santa Rosa p.) I compleated the ride with much joy and happiness… I have never done a large grades before and I am over joyed… The GIANT DEFY 3 is a great bike and screw for the money part, It really works well… you may want to change the seat, and some other Items but you will find youself happy with the purchace and bike.. I know I am..BTW I recentaly had carpal tunnel surgery.

… and bike hand comfort is critical and this bike is all comfort.. I have also lost 100 lbs. with the help of biking.. I really think that I has saved my life.. and being a larger man (240lbs) a good strong bike makes a differeance… and this bike has it all…
the frame is stiff, the forks are vibration free and to top it off… It just looks cool as hell!!!!!! Thank you GIANT your newest fan
