Hey Doug,

That is a great question. We *really* try to avoid bikes that have not-good-enough-for-Denver tires. The bike manufacturers are usually trying to save money for the customer. And we always request that the specs be changed, but the manufacturer often has deaf ears. We *do* offer people credit from their Ultra Sport (and Vittoria Zaffiro) tires toward some tougher Denver-proof tires, but we cannot talk everyone into it.

What do we do with these tires? We sell many of them to people who need a stationary trainer tire. We also sell them to fixie kids who want to skid through their tire quickly.

"Tires like the Continental Ultra Sport ($16 MSRP) are great tires, BUT NOT FOR DENVER. "

You are selling at least two bikes with these tires. Why?
